At Embassy Row Orthodontics, Dr. Hickory offers virtual orthodontics with Dental Monitoring. The one-of-a-kind smartphone app system enables you to take progress photos of your teeth and upload them for Dr. Hickory to review.
The app’s algorithm does a lot of the analysis. It processes your uploaded photos to record how your teeth are moving at different stages of treatment. You’ll still visit the office once every 12 weeks for an in-person visit, but Dr. Hickory can send you instructions and advice after looking at your photos between visits. He can even send you annotated pictures.
With the Dental Monitoring app, you’ll be able to directly message Dr. Hickory with questions or comments about your treatment.
With direct messaging, you’ll get better clarity and understanding regarding your treatment that you might not get if you had less access to your orthodontist. The app is entirely secure and compliant with HIPAA standards.
