OrthoCAD

We utilize the most state-of-the-art technology available, including OrthoCAD, to provide us with extremely precise digital models of patients’ teeth, so we can make an accurate diagnosis and create a personalized treatment plan that guarantees optimum results.

First, impressions or an optical scan will be made of your teeth. Then, we will use the OrthoCAD technology to create virtual models that we are able to store electronically, making them more easily accessible for review anywhere and at anytime. With this convenience and the ability to use a wide range of computer diagnostic tools to manipulate your virtual 3-D model to create the most effective treatment approach. This digital method has proven far more effective than the plaster models once used.

With OrthoCad, the doctor can place your braces virtually on the computer model of your projected result. The brace positions are then recorded in a thin rubber sleeve and mailed to us. This makes the brace placement visit very easy. We just need to place a drop of sealant on each bracket and place the rubber sleeve on your teeth. After initiating the set with a light, the rubber sleeve is peeled off and your braces are on, easily and very accurately.
